UBM To Merge With Informa

The London-based United Business Media is reportedly considering a merger with the academic, scientific information and events company Informa. This report has been verified on both companies’ websites and is said to only be in the early stages of discussing the all-share merger. Since the potential merger is still in very early stages, it is not immediately clear how it would affect UBM’s magazine business. Folio (June 9, 2008)
