Time Inc. Plans Re-Structuring and Workforce Reduction
October 29th, 2008
Time Inc. plans a re-organization that will result in a more centralized management structure, grouping titles with similar audiences together, sharing editorial resources between titles and focusing more intensively on the publisher’s biggest brands. The re-structuring will include a 6% reduction in workforce, eliminating 600 positions. None of Time Inc.’s 24 U.S. titles is expected to close. The New York Times (Oct. 28, 2008)
