The lights may dim on the Oprah TV show in 2011, but there’s plenty of reason to celebrate in 2010…

O, The Oprah Magazine will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year and, to mark the occasion, Oprah will host a “Live Your Best Life Weekend” in New York City, home to Hearst Magazines. The May 7th-9th event will include workshops with O magazine columnists, an Oprah performance at Radio City Music Hall and the chance to join the star on a “Walk for a Cause.” This celebration will receive all kinds of advance publicity – on TV and in the magazine. Ten U.S. O, The Oprah Magazine newsstand buyers (and their guests) will win an all-expenses-paid trip to New York City to take part in the “Live Your Best Life Weekend.” Each February newsstand copy will contain an entry card, sealed in an envelope, with an official entry code. Readers simply enter the code on the Oprah.com website to find out immediately if they have won.
Tickets to “Live Your Best Life” events for the general public will go on sale March 15th, but you can be sure that Oprah readers will look to score one of the free trips now.
