TasteofHome.com, the website of the recipe-lovers magazine, has rolled out a new video channel that mixes together original content, user-generated clips and professionally produced cooking fare from across the Web.  The video channel actually went live in mid-July, though it has slowly been adding more and more features as the weeks go by.  Just last week it began featuring amateur cooks’ self-produced cooking videos.  The plan for the website is to become a one-stop shopping outlet for instructional cooking video.  TasteofHome plans to incorporate even clips from competitors, as long as they appear on third party sites such as YouTube or GoogleVideo and are embeddable on its site.  MediaWeek (Sept. 3, 2008)
