Hearst has named Susan K. Reed the new editor-in-chief of O, replacing the retiring Amy Gross. Reed will leave her position at the shuttering Golf for Women in order to take over her new responsibilities at O. Folio (July 7, 2008)

Reed Business Information cut 41 jobs yesterday in a company wide effort to restructure RBI’s publications and business units. Along with the cuts, RBI indicated that more job eliminations are possible and that Reed Elsevier, RBI’s parent company, has plans to sell its b-to-b division. Folio (June 4, 2008)
