Fox News Buys Small-Time Newspaper

Roger Ailes, the chairman of Fox News, purchased his 142-year-old local newspaper, The Putnam County News and Recorder last month. While Fox News has no immediate plans to change the newspaper or increase its circulation beyond the 3,000 it is at now, they may be looking to “evolve it over time.” NY Times
