OK! Teams Up With Buzz Media

In an effort to catch up with major online celeb gossip sites like Yahoo’s OMG and print-based brands like People.com and Usmagazine.com, OK! magazine is teaming up with Buzz Media. Buzz Media, a social programming giant, is one of the largest collections of pop culture websites including Just Jared, Buzznet, Celebuzz, and the celebrity blogs belonging to Britney Spears and Kim Kardashian. The pact between OK! and Buzz Media calls for joint ad sales, collaborations on news stories and cross-promotions of each other’s editorial content. Lori Burgess, publisher of OK!, anticipates traffic will increase ninefold this year as a result of the Buzz Media partnership. Changes to the site should be reflected by July of this year. US Magazine Reveals Jamie Lynn Spears Gave Birth

All week long the rumor mills have been churning out reports about Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy. Britney and her dad were spotted getting on a plane from LA to Louisiana to be there for Jamie Lynn (Britney’s sister) while she gave birth. Both Spears sisters were photographed entering the Mississippi Southwest Regional Media Center this week. And finally, reports have circulated that Jamie Lynn gave birth this morning to Maddie Briann, a 7 lb. 11 oz. baby girl. Both mommy and baby are healthy and happy.
