Surprise! WSJ.com to Retain Paid-Content Model

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, today, News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch quashed speculation he had raised in the fall that the Wall Street Journal would make all online content available at no cost. In fact, he said, that “the really special things” would probably be more expensive. (This bit of news, as it happens, is available on the free portion of the Journal’s website.)
