PIB Report: Mag Ad Revenue Drops 1.2% in 1st Quarter

Even worse was a 6.4 percent drop in ad pages for the period. Softness in the adutomotive and in the automotive and home furnishings accounted for some of the drop, which affected many, but not all, magazines. Among those bucking the declining-ad-page trend were OK! magazine (up 37.9 percent to 168.61 pages) and Everyday with Rachael Ray (up 38.1 percent in pages). Circulation Management (Apr. 14, 2008)
