Oprah Will Not Share Stage with Obama in Denver

Oprah Winfrey is not expected to introduce Barack Obama or take any other leading role, at this month’s Democratic National Convention in Denver, either because she doesn’t want to steal the spotlight (the idea advanced by Oprah associate Gayle King) or because her TV ratings suffered from her very public support of Obama in the primaries (the idea advanced by LAT blogger Andrew Malcolm).
