NOTICE: Valuable SAS 70 Report Now Available to CMG Client Publishers
January 3, 2008 — CMG has completed the audit of its Internal Controls for 2007 in accordance with Statement of Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS 70), and wishes to advise publishers that a formal Report detailing CMG’s Internal Control environment, along with related audit test results, is available for publisher use.
The Report contains information that, in many instances, can help publishers significantly reduce the time and expense required to prepare and issue their financial statements. Independent accountants and auditors are often able to place extensive reliance upon CMG’s Internal Controls, thereby reducing the work they need to perform directly on behalf of CMG represented publishers.
This information is being provided to CMG’s publishers with the suggestion that it be reviewed with their finance departments and independent accountants to determine how they might benefit from the use of this Report.
