Newsweek to Skip Another Issue in August

The “weekly” will publish a second double issues in August, in addition to one around the 4th of July and another at Christmas-time, as a cost-cutting measure in the face of the depressed ad climate. The move comes less than a month after the publication’s switch from its “remedial news” format to more columns and narrative features.
