Newspapers Thrive In Developing World

While the newspaper industry in the United States and Europe continues to decline, the business in the developing world is very much on the upswing.  New newspapers in places from Rwanda to Tajikistan are attracting readers and advertising money to the tune of double-digit percentage increases in circulation.  New York Times (MAY REQUIRE SUBSCRIPTION) (May 20, 2008)
