New News Group Gigs for Glenn Brillinger and Robert Smith

Glenn Brillinger has transferred from The News Group Canada to The New Group USA, where he will serve as vice president of category management. Robert Smith will fill Brillinger’s vacated position as vice president of sales and marketing for The News Group Canada. Full text of the announcement from The New Group Canada appears below.

We are pleased to announce the following change within our Executive Management structure in Canada.
Glenn Brillinger, who joined the company in 1998, and has contributed in a number of important roles, along with relocating several times throughout Canada leaves his most recent position as Vice President of Sales and Marketing Canada and joins our US TNG team as Vice President Category Management. Glenn will remain based in Burlington.
Effective immediately, Robert Smith will be joining our Canadian Team in the position of Vice President Sales and Marketing.
Rob joined the company in 1999, specializing in the Circulation and Information Services departments. Rob progressed through the company, including starting up our US Category Management team, as the Vice President of Category Management.
