Murdoch Raises Cover Prices Across the Pond

“The Sun” will be raising the cover price of its weekday paper to 30p in London and the south-east. Last September, it slashed its price from 35p to 20p and then in May increased it to 25p. The ABC circulation figures reported that the paper has managed its fifth year-on-year circulation increase with a sales rise of 0.81% to 3,089,321 copies. The Guardian (July 18, 2008)
