Magazines See New Revenue Stream in Apple’s Tablet

Publishers are eager for the launch of Apple’s new Tablet device. Condé Nast and Time Inc. have already created mockups of their magazines for it, but concerns persist about Apple’s serving as an intermediary between publishers and their customers. In an earlier instance of Apple in the go-between role, music publishers were happy for the the iTunes revenue stream, but also blame the service for undermining the album format.
