Magazines Boosting Website Views with Interactive Online Games

Publisher and editors are realizing that to keep magazines afloat they need to hook viewers onto their websites.  National Geographic and BusinessWeek are a few who are utilizing interactive applications such as online games and puzzles to increase the amount of time viewers spend on their page.  It has been estimated that the average page is viewed for a mere 11 seconds.  So it is hopeful that the introduction of online games will keep the viewer on the page longer.  Folio (Mar. 27, 2008)
