On January 30th, Jack Kliger, currently ceo of HFM US, will receive the Magazine Publishers of America’s Henry Johnson Fisher Award for lifetime achievement and celebrated editor Tina Brown will be inducted into the American Society of Magazine Editors’ Hall of Fame.  Brown opined that the web has made magazine editing a tougher job these days, while the sixty-year-old Kliger quipped that he greatly appreciated the “…recognition at [his] midcareer point.”  MediaWeek  (Jan. 28, 200)
