LOUD3R Buys 500 Domain Names-Launching 10 Websites A Month

LOUD3R, a network of 25 websites that aggregate enthusiast online content, has bought 500 domain names and plans on creating 10 new sites a month until all 500 are up and running. The network is similar to that of Inform Technologies which is used by Conde Nast and is based on an internally-built semantic publishing platform. The revenue stratey is to sell ads and data services, though nothing specific has been released. Folio (June 20, 2008)
