Little Sign of Economic Woes in Fashion Mags’ Spring Previews

The March “Spring Preview” issues are second only to the September-Fall spectaculars for the glossies, and this time around they are faring well, in spite of the sputtering economy.  Ad pages at fifteen are up and just five down, compared to March 2007.  Elle and Vogue are chugging right along, while the more mass In Style feels the pinch.  Ad scorecards for the fashion magazines’ first three months are available from the Media Industry Newslettermin
