Lifestyle magazines thrive as lads’ mags are hit by credit crunch

Upscale British magazines, despite the dwindling economy, were relatively strong performers for the First Half of 2008.   Hearst’s NatMags realized a strong unit sales performance with Cosmopolitan, Country Living and Harper’s Bazaar.  Conde Nast’s Vogue and GQ also performed well.
