Kellogg testing out new packaging

January 29th, 2009

Kellogg is experimenting with a revised version of the cereal boxes they have been using since the 1950’s. The new packaging will still hold the same amount of product but it will be made with less packaging, save space on shelves/pantries, and will protect and preserve natural resources using an average of 8 percent less packaging material per cereal box. A six month test will be conducted in Detroit with participating retailers.
