The PBAA Board of Directors voted today to appoint Joseph M. Gallo to a two-year term as President of PBAA effective January 1, 2009, upon the completion of Richard Alleger‘s service as Acting President.Joe Gallo is currently Vice President, Circulation for the Penthouse Magazine Division, Friend Finder Networks, where he has daily and strategic responsibilities for both Retail Sales and Subscriptions with regard to initiatives and sales growth.  Joe’s past positions at wholesale, national distributor, and publishing companies give him an exceptional perspective on the challenges and possibilities of today’s single copy world.

Joe’s appointment provides executive continuity for PBAA. His integrity, forthrightness, and passion for magazine sales will lead PBAA to better serve our core mission as “The Voice of the Newsstand Industry.”
