After months of searching for a successor to executive editor Len Downie, The Washington Post is allegedly looking towards New York Times deputy managing editor Jonathan Landman. Though Landman will not confirm or deny this, a source with knowledge of the search process says that Landman met with Downie in Washington on June 13^th and that he may be interested in the job.
