IDG Sees Better Life After Print

International Data Group, the tech publisher of PC World, Macworld and CIO converted one of its flagships, InfoWorld, to online-only a year ago and has seen its business improve ever since.  Now even the glossy, long-format-edit CIO — for Chief Information Officer — pursues an “online-first” strategy, even though the company expects the print version to stay around for years.  The New York Times  (May 5, 2008)
