Good Magazine Plays “Name-Your-Sub-Price” Game

Good magazine is looking to increase its subscriber base and up its contributions to global non-profits — that is, to “do well by doing good” — by playing the “name-your-own-price” game for subscriptions.  Good has donated 100% of its subscription revenue to nonprofit organizations since its launch two years ago.  The magazine is hoping that the subscription promotion will help it add significantly to that total.  The initiative, which kicked off Thursday, is timed to coincide with Good’s new, weekly Good Sheet, which will be distributed in Starbucks coffee houses over the next three months.  Folio: (Sept. 10, 2008)
