Fresh Home: a New Voice on Home Improvement

Just ahead of peak home-improvement time comes the premiere issue of Fresh Home, the new, newsstand-only shelter magazine from Reader’s Digest (and the best-performing test concept the publisher has seen in years).  Fresh Home puts a new spin on a category that has weathered some storms in recent years.  First of all, it aims for a slightly younger demographic than the established home magazines, specifically, women and couples between 25 and 50 years of age.  But more than that, freshHome is really meant for Do-it-Yourselfers, or at least the DIY-minded!

Look for 300,000 copies of this new quarterly on display in national home centers, leading supermarkets, mass merchandisers, drug and specialty retailers.
