Felix Dennis Is Looking For Bargains…

Felix Dennis says the down economy won’t deter him from expanding his magazine business — if the right properties become available at the right price. In addition to seeking bargain acquisitions (like his earlier pick-up of Auto Express), Dennis will export The Week” to new markets, including Austalia in October and India and Canada sometime thereafter. Any interview with Dennis is sure to include a few good quotes. Here’s one:
I don’t care if I’m investing in a so-called sunset industry. The sun is setting very, very slowly. And there are only two types of businesses: the well run and the badly run. The well run will survive a recession.
