FCC Rules Against Comcast

The Federal Communications Commission will rule that Comcast violated federal policy by deliberately preventing some customers from sharing videos online via file-sharing services. While Comcast acknowledges that it slowed some traffic, it claims it was necessary to prevent a few heavy users from overburdening the network. The decision is likely to go to court sometime in the near future. WSJ (July 28, 2008)
