The curves of recent past “sexiest woman” woman have led to a very attractive curve in Esquire’s sales reports, too. The November issue typically delivers a newsstand sales bonus of 10 to 15 percent. So, will the beautiful British actress live up to the high standards set by Halle Berry, Charlize Theron and Scarlett Johansson, the honorees in 2008, 2007 and 2006, respectively? We hope and expect so – and the issue is on promotion on Barnes & Noble, Borders, plus some terminal accounts. Whatever the judgment of male magazine readers, however, we think Ms. Beckinsale is highly deserving of the honor, and she is but one piece of another jampacked November issue.
