Dollar Tree Sales Improve With Slowing Economy

Dollar Tree stores posted sales increase better than the company’s expectations during the fiscal first quarter. Overall sales increase by 7.8% over the same period last year, largely on increased store traffic believed to be from consumer concern over the economy. Supermarket News (May 9, 2008)
