Condé Revamps W

W, Condé’s upscale fashion magazine is about to get a revamp. Not so much in style and content, but more along the lines of staff. For a while now, W has been straddling Condé Nast and Farichild. The publishing side reported to Condé, while the editorial side reported to Fairchild. With Patrick McCarthy, chairman of Fairchild Fashion Group and editor of W stepping down, the magazine will be returned in full to Condé Nast where it will live alongside Vogue, Glamour, and Allure.
