Condé Nast Exits Women’s Golf Business

Condé Nast Publications has announced plans to close Golf for Women magazine, amid changing media habits and a shrinking economy. In a statement on Monday, Chief Executive Charles H. Townsend said the company planned to close the bimonthly magazine, because it “will not support our long term business objectives.” The wall Street Journal (July 8, 2008)
