Circ Reevaluation For Bonnier’s Ski Titles

Bonnier Corp’s ski titles are reevaluating their circulation model, in the face of increase paper and delivery costs. Skiing will cut its rate base 25%, while Ski magazine plans to cuts its base by 11%. “The rate bases will be cut by slashing the titles’ dependence on verified circulation, which accounted for 56 percent of total paid and verified circ in the second half of ’07, making them among the heaviest users of verified circ, per the Audit Bureau of Circulations.” Mediaweek (June 25, 2008)
