Upscale British magazines, despite the dwindling economy, were relatively strong performers for the First Half of 2008.   Hearst’s NatMags realized a strong unit sales performance with Cosmopolitan, Country Living and Harper’s Bazaar.  Conde Nast’s Vogue and GQ also performed well.Â
