Hearst to Shutter ‘O at Home’

In Tough Times, Publishers Seek Comfort in More Food Titles

Source Reports Quarterly Loss; Folds 3 Titles

Source Interlink Companies yesterday reported a net loss of $296.7 million for the six months ending July 31, compared to a $4 million net income gain for the period last year.  The company has also folded three underperforming titles: Car Audio and Electronics, Stock Car Racing and Mini Rider. New WSJ Magazine Boasts 51 Advertisers — 19 New to the Journal

The new luxury lifestyle magazine will be sent to a subgroup of The Wall Street Journal’s subscribers with an average household income of $265,000, beginning this Saturday.  Total circ for the launch issue will be 960,000 copies: 800,000 sold by subscription and at newsstands in 17 large markets, plus 160,000 copies distributed on Fridays overseas. HFM Shutters Home Magazine
