Budget Travel Gets a New President

Nancy Telliho, soon-to-be president of Newsweek Inc.’s Arthur Frommer’s Budget Travel, will be replacing CEO Harold Shain. Telliho’s new job takes effect Aug. 1 and Shain will be calling it quits at the end of the year. As her first order of business, Telliho needs to find a successor for her old publishing position and an editor to replace the recently-resigned Erik Torkells. Since Budget Travel didn’t have a No. 2 editor under Torkells or an associate publisher, the newcomers will likely come from outside the company. MediaWeek (July 18, 2008)
