May 14th, 2008
BBC Magazine is planning to launch a US title, BBC Knowledge Magazine, for readers with a “curious mind.” The 100-page-full-color glossy will compete with National Geographic and other natural history and science magazines. Initial plans are to publish six times a year using content from existing BBC publications. The magazine’s first print run will be 85,000 copies and be priced at $5.99 on newsstands.
