Attendance Down at AMC in San Francisco

Some 450 magazine movers and shakers made their way out to the City by the Bay for this year’s American Magazine Conference, down about 14% from last year. The NYP’s Keith Kelly thinks that the MPA may have gone overboard with the austerity program. The non-resort venue (The St. Francis) does not have a swimming pool and the few alcoholic drinks at one evening function were decidely sub-standard.
