At Fresh & Easy: More Own-Brand SKUs and Brighter Colors

Among the biggeest tweaks Tesco is making at its Fresh & Easy stores is the addition of 250 new, private-label products, including prepared meals, juices, brewed teas, yogurts and ready-to-grill meats.  Private label goods account for roughly 50% of the items in Fresh & Easy locations, but 75% of the sales.  Also coming is bright-colored signage to warm the stores up.  Supermarket News  (May 13, 2008)
