Asian Food Market Expands in Phoenix Area

Lee Lee Oriental Supermarket, which operated a single location in Chandler, AZ, for 15 years, opened a second store in Peoria, AZ, yesterday.  Owner Meng Truong plans to open a third store in Tucson next year, and additional Arizona locations after that.  The Asian population in Phoenix’s eastern valley grew some 25% from 2000 to 2006.  East Valley Tribune (Arizona)  (Apr. 24, 2008)
