ANNOUNCEMENT: T. Taylor Wilson and Adam P. Yeeles Promoted

April 10th, 2008

T. Taylor Wilson has been promoted to senior manager, operations services, and will continue to report to David Jones, director of operations services and wholesale financial services. Wilson’s promotion is in recognition of her contribution to the company in recruiting, developing and deploying a talented team, as well as her outstanding performance in managing the day-to-day product allocation activities for client publishers.

Wilson began her career in the magazine business in 1996 with Chas. Levy Circulating Company, where she held various positions, including city circulator. In that position, she successfully managed the daily distribution and sales activities for The New York Times, Financial Times, and other publications. She came to CMG in 2000 from Condé Nast Publications where, in addition to playing a key role in launching Lucky magazine in the Chicago market, she managed magazine sales and distribution activities, while acting as liaison to Chas. Levy’s management team and retailers. With CMG, Wilson relocated from Chicago, IL, to Charlotte, NC, in 2002, after being promoted to operations services manager. In this role, she has worked closely with Client Services, the CMG Field Force, and client publishers along with their selected shippers to ensure effective and efficient magazine allocations for newsstand distribution.

Wilson was recognized with the Circle of Excellence award at CMG’s National Sales Conference in 2006. She holds a degree in marketing from Chicago State University in Chicago, Illinois.

Adam P. Yeeles has been promoted to marketing communications manager, and been assigned day-to-day responsibility for CMG’s new, content-rich website. He will continue to report to Walter Verfenstein, corporate communications director. Yeeles has led two re-designs of CMG’s website within the past year, along with creative services manager Jennifer Levenfus. He also developed and contributes daily to CMG’s NewsShare news aggregation weblog, and has been responsible for significant upgrades to CMG’s sales materials, training materials and employee communications efforts since joining the company in 2005.

Before coming to CMG, Yeeles held consulting and staff positions with the American Iranian Council (AIC), a public policy advocacy organization in Princeton, New Jersey. There, he wrote AIC’s quarterly newsletter, designed and maintained its website, managed its annual operating budget and coordinated its marketing, fund-raising and membership programs. Yeeles’ prior professional experience includes service as: a research associate/consultant for Fund for Peace in Washington, DC, an assistant writing instructor for Howard County Community College in Columbia, Maryland, and a research assistant at American University, also in Washington, DC. Yeeles holds an M.A. from American University’s School of Public Affairs and a B.A. from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
