Allure to Publish Free Magazine for Spas

Condé Nast’s Allure magazine is getting set to publish Allure Spa, a free “ultimate insiders guide” to luxury spas. Spas are rapidly increasing in popularity and women want more and more information on the spa experience and different treatments that are offered. Allure plans to distribute 200,000 copies to spas and salons in September, with plans to publish annually. The new publication will feature information on spa beauty treatments, diets, and the growth of the medi-spa, spas that provide medical treatments. Advertising for the title will likely be provided mainly by beauty, fashion, spas, and personal care industries. MediaWeek (Feb. 27, 2008)
