Kelly ConneenAs Vice President, Client Services, Hearst Group, Kelly Conneen oversees all aspects of retail marketing for Hearst Magazines, one of CMG’s owner-clients.  She works closely with the newsstand and circulation executives at Hearst in every aspect of sales forecast, analysis, newsstand strategy, and managing of resources and data.  She leads the team of marketing managers and business analysts in Princeton in the implementation of the goals and objectives of Hearst Magazines through communication with the wholesale and retail channels, ensuring the flow of quality performance and information for the Hearst brands.

Conneen had extensive experience in Retail Management prior to becoming a magazine executive.  She spent ten years in management at Macy Corp, as well as several years as store manager for Brandon’s, a Dayton-Hudson Corporation Division in Atlanta, with more than 100 staff reporting, and responsible for more than $50 million in retail sales.

After joining TV Guide/Murdoch, Conneen rose through the ranks and became Sr. District Manager in the NYC Metro area. She has held various marketing positions with Curtis Circulation as well as Peterson Publishing.

Conneen was hired by Hearst (HDG) in 1999 as a Sr. Marketing Manager and assisted with the launch of O, the Oprah Magazine, among many others over the years.  Conneen became Group Manager in 2003, Director of the Hearst Group in 2004, Sr. Director in 2011 and then smoothly transitioned to Vice President shortly thereafter.

Conneen was awarded the “Circle of Excellence” award by CMG in 2004. She graduated summa cum laude from Georgian Court University and resides in Point Pleasant, NJ.
