As Vice President, Retail Marketing John Wilson is responsible for directing the sales and marketing initiatives for all CMG Publisher clients in many of our U.S. retail chains. John manages a team of National Account Managers responsible for the day-to-day responsibilities at chain headquarters within all classes of trade.
Joining CMG in 2000, John was part of CMG’s original National Account Manager team and his first responsibility was to develop CMG’s business in the Drug class of trade. In 2006, he was promoted to Director of Sales with responsibility for a wide array of national supermarket and mass merchant retailers.
Prior to joining CMG, John worked as Regional Manager at Eastman Kodak where he managed a team of sales and training managers throughout the Southeast and Puerto Rico. Early in his career, John worked at Time Distribution Services where he spent eleven years in multiple sales, management, and training positions.
John has a B.S. Degree in Marketing from the University of Florida. He resides with his family in Sarasota, Florida.
