Brad Erlenbach is CMG’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. As lead finance officer, Erlenbach has primary responsibility for CMG’s internal and external financial reporting, management analysis, and treasury functions. He evaluates strategic business opportunities, prepares competitive threat assessments and holds responsibility for running the company’s back office operation in Charlotte, NC.
A ten-year veteran of the newsstand business, Brad has over 25 years of financial, treasury, and accounting experience. Erlenbach gained wide-ranging financial expertise while serving in the New York Metro practice of Price Waterhouse in the early 1990’s. As an Audit Manager, he provided extensive financial guidance to clients in the areas of financial covenants, internal controls, efficiency modeling, and capital acquisition and disposition decisions. Erlenbach joined The Hearst Corporation in 1992 as Controller of the Hearst Book Division, where he oversaw the financial performance of William Morrow & Company, and Avon Books, Inc. He joined CMG as one of the company’s original staff members in 1999 and has been an integral part of CMG’s success over the past decade.
Erlenbach is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), who maintains his certification in several states. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants
