A Circulator’s New Best Friend, or Will Maghound Be a Dog?

Writing in Circulation Management, Kristina Joukhadar doesn’t really handicap the new Time Inc. service’s success odds, but she does pose seven questions likely to be on the minds of consumer marketers to Maghound President Dave Ventresca.  Among other things, his answers reveal: that the major fulfillment houses (Time Customer Service, CDS and Palm Coast/Kable) are ready to stop and start subscriptions at irregular intervals … that Maghound will not share its customer data with Time Inc. or other publishers … and that, to begin, circ. will be classified as single copy, although Ventresca hopes that future volume might lead to re-classification into a new ABC category.  Circulation Management  (Dec. 5, 2007)
