How do I compact my Notes Databases?Open your Lotus Notes Program and go to your workspace. You
can use your workspace icon to get to your workspace. Just click on the
icon on the left hand side. Upon viewing your workspace right click the desired Local database and select Database => Properties.
Once the new window appears select the black i tab
Click on % used, if lower than 95%, click on Compact. Close window.
If you look at the bottom left hand side of your workspace you will see that the compact is starting. It will also tell you when it has finished. Once you close the window you can start doing the process for the next local database. there is no need to wait for the compacting to finish. Your local databases are usually:
