What is the Information Bar and what do I do with it?In some instances certain downloads require ActiveX installed for that program. If you have your Microsoft Firewall Enabled you will see this happen. If a website requires an ActiveX control, you will get a window asking if you noticed the information bar, click OK.
If you notice on your Internet Browser window you will see an extra bar underneath your address bar, that is the Information Bar. Click on Click here for Options on the Information Bar.
A drop down box will appear and you will need to select Install ActiveX Controls.
