How do I FTP files to CMG's Anonymous FTP site?

Please note the Anonymous FTP site is not a secure site. Do not place any sensitive files or confidential files on this ftp site without password protection. You can create a zip file that is password protected to give it protection, you can look at the section on How to Zip a file to find the instructions on how to create a password protected zip file.

The purpose of this FTP Server is to allow our users to more efficiently exchange larger files without having to send large attachments through Lotus Notes.

Please note that anything older than 7 days will be deleted from the FTP server nightly.

If you need to have something on the server more than 7 days then please contact the CMG Helpdesk at

If you are uploading a file, you can do so two different ways. You can either drag the file over from your desktop or copy and paste into the ftp site.

To drag and drop the file to the ftp folder simply have open the ftp site and minimize the size of the window. Once done you can open the folder where the file you want to upload is located and click and drag that file over to the ftp site. If you need to take a file off the ftp site you would do the opposite.
